When I say "commands for LLMs", I mean:
Short prompt commands that represent longer instructions for the AI chatbot. Those prompt commands have been defined earlier in the conversation or chatbot's instructions.
Save time/energy - Less for you to type.
Well-thought-out & clear instruction:
Greater chance that AI behaves the way you want.
Option 1: When you create a Project assistant/GPT: Write instructions.
Option 2: Define commands at the beginning of the chat.
Option 3 (more advanced solution): Define commands globally in the operating system, for example via the program AutoHotkey.
If you often write a certain instruction:
Define the instruction as a command.
Custom Commands are generally best to define in English, but Swedish works ok.
Below I show examples of shortcut commands that can be useful to define for an AI chatbot. As you can see, I have written the instructions in English, because that is usually best. In addition, I begin with a short explanation for the AI model before defining my commands:

Command list:
"--ai" = Output: "Let us talk about: Artificial Intelligence."
"--apa" = Let's stick to APA 7 rules regarding formatting and referencing.
"--az" = Format your output in alphabetical order, starting from the letter A etc.
"--calc" = Use Python to calculate.
"--check" = Check the output you just wrote to me. Is there something in your output that could be improved? Explain what and why.
"--commands" = Show me a list of all the commands I have specified for you.
"--cot" = Use Chain-of-Thought (CoT): Reason step-by-step to increase the quality of your output. Finish your output with a final conclusion.
"--date" = Search online to find today's date. Then say "I searched online. Today's date is:" then format as DD Month YYYY.
"--emo" = Give me several emojis, stacked up horizontally, for what I describe, without explaining or commenting your output.
"--eng" = Translate to English.
"--grammar" = Check grammar.
"--lang" = Check my language. Is my text well written? Does the sentences sound natural? Is the text well written, etc?
"--link" = Give me a clickable link.
"--ok" = Just answer "OK 💡" now.
"--q" = Quote, word for word, from the source from which you draw information.
"--s" = Make a short summary of the text you just wrote to me. Important: In this conversation, only output extremely short answers!
"--short" = Always keep your answers extremely short: maximum one short-length sentence!
"--spell" = Perform a spell check on the text.
"--swe" = Translate to Swedish.
"--table" = Show me a table in your output.
"--tel" = Phone numbers should be written in this format: "+46..." and phone numbers should be clickable (so I can click them and call).
"--tell" = Tell me what to change! Do not reprint or change text we are working on. Instruct me instead.
"--title" = Format heading to Title Case.
"--ul" = Use an unordered list in your output.
"--uni" = Show me Unicode symbols that represent what I am describing.
"--url" = Show me the URL web address.
"--www" = Search multiple reliable websites for high-quality info, and tell me you searched online. Include a source link in your output.
"--xb" = Never bold text!
"--xfollow" = Do NOT ask me follow up questions.
"--xi" = Never italicize text!
"--xwww" = Do NOT search online before your next output.
Below I show examples of shortcut commands that can be useful specifically for coding/software development. These are just a few suggestions, so you may need to add several more custom commands of your own.

"--flex" = Use flexbox for positioning.
"--xcomment" = Add short, simple, pedagogical comments in English to code.
"--lms" = Output: "Let us talk about AI and local inference, and the application L M Studio (lms)."
"--ml" = Output: "Let us talk about machine learning (ML)".
"--next" = Let us focus on the framework Next.js, for web development.
"--py" = Output: "Let us talk about Python coding. If I output code, I will use Python code."
"--react" = Let us focus on the framework React, for web development.
"--web" = Output: "Let us talk about: Web development."
"--vsc" = Output: "Let us talk about the coding app Visual Studio Code (V S Code). You can use the short "vsc" in this chat."
"--xcode" = Do NOT show me code.
"--xcomment" = Do NOT comment code.
