▪ Can work well as a complement to ChatGPT.
▪ Can serve as a complement to Google Search, AI Mode.
▪ No login is required, but paid subscriptions (which do require a login) are available if you want to use the tool's full capabilities.
Quite similar to ChatGPT in some respects, but Perplexity's default behavior is to search online before answering you. ChatGPT does not automatically search online as often.
▪ Sometimes it is better at searching online than ChatGPT is.
▪ It presents search results in a slightly different way from ChatGPT.
▪ Sometimes it can be reassuring to know that AI automatically will likely search online (even though it is very easy to control that behavior in ChatGPT).
